Field Notes

Description:

Stink bug hanging out on a window screen

Habitat:

Rural deciduous area, Clermont County

Notes:

Fun fact: This species, though arguably the most common in the US, is invasive. It was introduced by accident in shipping material from Asia around 1998. Its native counterparts are not nearly as damaging to crops and gardens, and can, in fact, be beneficial.
