Description:

Long, tubular red wild flower, about 2.5 cm long. Grows close to the ground with light green, heavily veined spear-shaped leaves.

Habitat:

Forest floor, about 5 km up Mt. Huitepec, west of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
