Description:

Greyish or brownish in colour
Looks like a tick but not one I'm familiar with

Habitat:

Found in the woman's washroom in our school.

This is actually a soft tick (Argasidae). Soft ticks don't have a scutum like hard ticks do. Also, you can't easily see the capitulum (mouthparts) on a soft tick because they are ventrally located.
Well it could be a Dermacentor albipictus a species that came in from migrating birds.
