Field Notes

Description:

A small lycaenid with grub type larva and brown pupa

Habitat:

Hiding under succulent leaves. They feed nocturnally and can be seen by the 'chews' from last night partying.

Notes:

The pupa is of a different species of Pseudidipsas but you wouldn't know because they are very similar.

These specimens are collected by Cleve Herd whose wealth of information makes me appear knowledgeable.
