Description:

It's a small frog of length 1.5 cm - 2.0 cm.
Lower part of the body is brown colour and back is dark yellow with black spots scattered here and there.
It has black eyes with brown band on the lower edge.
It is a very shy animal and tries to escape from a long distance by spotting a threat.

Habitat:

I found this bush frog in the grasses near a lake called 'Ayyankere' in Chikkamagalur district of Karnataka, India.
This lake is surrounded by the mountains of Western Ghats.
