Description:

Snipe fly with bright emerald eyes and patterned wings. About 1.5 cm long. Family Rhagionidae.

Habitat:

Forest, about 5 km up Mt. Huitepec, west of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
