Field Notes

Description:

The first thing that sticks out is that this spider has a definite "X" shape. Its legs stick out, then curve downwards. The web was about a medium size, slightly more than a foot long. The spider itself was roughly 1.5-2 inches. It is brown with yellow and white dots. There is a small area of black coloring where its mandibles are.
