Field Notes

Description:

Small yellow and brown Plant Bug, about 7 mm long. The upper wings are almost transparent so the underlying body is visible through the wings. The scutellum is a bright yellow. It also has a red "nose" (last picture). Family Miridae.

Habitat:

Arcotete Park, about 10 km north of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
