Description:

maybe 2.5 cm long, metallic green, in the soil hibernating, would love it if it would eat some of our tent caterpillars

Habitat:

ground urban forest

Notes:

We accidentally dug this beetle up when we were digging holes in the woods to plant tree seedlings and chopped him apart.
