Description:

Very small, reddish-orange coloration and small antennae, mostly translucent wings with some pale gray banding.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia.

Thank you so much, John. This one had me fooled. It took me a bit of time to find the ones with the longer antennae. :-) This is a new genus for me.
Hi ForestDragon this one is a fly (Diptera) not a wasp. Sometimes difficult to tell with these small ones.
