Description:

I found so many species of lichens in this area, so I think the air quality in Waterville Valley must be pretty exceptional.
The galls in photo 3 are Tremella everniae, a basidiomycete that is common on Evernia mesomorpha

Habitat:

On an old fence in an area with a few inns and ski lodges. The area is otherwise very rural
