Field Notes

Description:

I'm trying to identify some of the insects I find living around me in Uvita, Costa Rica. I've been trying to locate reference sites, and this seems to the most comprehensive. Can someone assist in identifying this?

Habitat:

I've seen this insect twice now. The second time occurred after a rainfall at 6 am in the morning. Both times, the insect was on our outside window. After I took this photo, the insect flew away out of sight.

Hi, it's a Leaf-Footed Bug (Anisoscelis sp.). It would be great if you could add the spotting to the mission "Insects of Costa Rica"!
