Description:

Apparently there are two very similar species in this area. Thanks to the comments from Project Noah!!

Habitat:

abandoned pasture lands on steep north facing slopes above Sinal

I have a couple of underwing pictures as well if that helps distinguish. There was another metalmark there but my picture is rather blurred. Had much wider wing bars
Yes, it is either Urbanus teleus or Urbanus tanna, some freaks just call them Urbanus teleus/tanna. Urbanus sp. Is fine.
Here is a reference with range information that I use for Long-tailed skipper ID and I agree with Jakubko about this ID http://butterfliesofamerica.com/t/Urbanus_a.htm
Urbanus teleus and Urbanus tanna are not frequently distinguishable from each other, so I think it would be best to keep it at Urbanus sp.
