Field Notes

Description:

Unidentified caterpillar spotted in the rainforest east of the Poas Volcano park. It was on the edge of a leaf.

Habitat:

Hilly, damp forested area.

Notes:

I have searched the internet for anything resembling this caterpillar, without results. Would appreciate any suggestions.

elegant little thing! so many undescribed species! you guys need to compile photo field guide of south american caterpillars. We just got one for my region only very recently. So much to discover!
