Description:

Pancratium maritimum is an Amaryllidaceous species whose presence is severely endangered in its original range, the sandy coasts of the Mediterranean sea. Flowers pure white, very large. Leaves broadly linear.

Habitat:

Mediterranean coastal sand dune.

Notes:

Distribution: Shores of the Mediterranean, Atlantic shores of Portugal and France, Black and Caspian seas.
