Description:

Aricia agestis, the brown argus, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. In southern Europe and Greece, there can be found the Aricia agestis subsp. agestis.
The pictured butterfly was spotted in Anavros torrent river bank, Volos city, Greece.
