Xylocopa sp. for sure. There are some conflicting IDs on the web. I do not know which one is correct. Xylocopa inconstans or Xylocopa caffra mossambica? Xylocopa caffra seems to have more yellow bands, at least the females. Please, verify!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/ruslou/2348118824/in/gallery-29697818@N03-72157622719362467/ http://www.beetlesofafrica.com/beetle_detail.asp?beetleid=47&page=1&count=y http://www.flickr.com/photos/oom_piet/3238439152/in/gallery-29697818@N03-72157622719362467/ http://www.dijitalimaj.com/alamyDetail.aspx?img=%7B5CC117F1-BC22-4D33-83C9-A106FC6471E3%7D
