Habitat:
Beaches, estuarine, and coastal areas or sheltered shores with sandy or muddy substrates. Areas bordering marshes and along the banks of tidal streams.
Notes:
There were a number of males displaying in this little area. They stand not too far from their holes and wave their big claw (fiddle) in a "come here" motion.
