No idea, actually. You might check the link, maybe you find some more infos. It might also be a variation or "hybrid". I once read about Crinum amabile var. augustum. The Queen Emma is from Hawaii, but also native from there??

Where is it native? I often wonder about the trail introduced species might have followed.
