Common Bluebottle

Taken in the Macritchie Reservoir, I was closer than a foot from this butterfly. The butterfly was about 4.5 inches in height. As seen in the picture, the butterfly's wings are streaked with a bright blue with small dabs of bright red. With six legs and two antennae, this butterfly was making its way around everywhere.
