Field Notes

Description:

Large, smooth leaves. No stem or flowers present. The leaf veins were white and thick. I only found a few of these in the area.

Habitat:

Grassy area on the side of the trail on the 7-mile loop trail in the Crystal River Preserve State Park. Pine trees nearby, as well as some shrubs I'm not sure about (Yaupon maybe?)
