Thanks zoomanallen! I was incorrect and you were right. I had accidentally uploaded two photos of two different animal skulls from that day. I was mistaken and thought they were photos of the same skull but at different angles. Thank you for the help!
Actually, it's the same skull. But their were a few more around the area.
Those look like two different skulls. The first could be a beaver or muskrat, you can see the incisors that have broken off. but the second is a carnivore, like a fox or raccoon.
