Description:

A medium sized hawk that is gray, tan, white, and reddish-brown. It has a long tail with horizontal stripes.

Habitat:

forests, woodland areas, wooded subdivision and backyards

Notes:

This handsome fellow was sitting on my neighbor's fence one day when I came home for lunch. I grabbed my camera and was surprised that he stayed put for the photo shoot:-)
