Description:

Pretty Soldier Beetle about 1 cm long. Family Cantharidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light. Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, Soconusco area of southern Chiapas, Mexico. About 1 hour from Tapachula.
