Description:

~18-24 inch long, heavy-bodied brown fish with barbels.

Habitat:

Creek fed man-made large, over 9 feet deep pond.

Notes:

Suspect these fish were added to the pond by well-meaning visitors a long time ago (20 years +).

ID made by a VA fisheries biologist.
