Description:

This Common Merganser duck pictured on the left side was hanging out with a group of Mallards. Mallards on the right (male and female). It had a head and pointed bright orange bill like a Merganser Note the white/black wingbar. Gray body with white belly.

Thanks. I figured that is what it had to be, but the marking looked different. It must be because it is winter. Thanks to all for the ID
