Habitat:

Wooded habitat along the Mississippi River at Rock Creek County Park

Notes:

This park held the largest population of red headed woodpeckers that I have ever seen. There were so many, and they do not seem like a peaceful bird. They were constantly chasing and fighting with each other. Very territorial.
