Description:

15mm black and orange bell shaped moth (or loose heart shaped or blunt arrow head) with a black head, black eyes and feathered black antennae. Plain black legs. Orange collar. Orange shoulder band and orange belt with chequerboard rear on wings. Cheshire cat face

Habitat:

In night garden on bracken under a light, possibly sleeping

Notes:

The feathery antennae are said to indicate a male. Also known as Lydia Lichen Moth
