Description:

Green lizard that possesses the ability to turn brown. Males have an expandable throat flap that is pink to purple in color this is used to attract females and ward off males with smaller throat flaps.These lizards are a generalist species and will eat anything.Juviniles and females have a greyish brown stripe down there backbone.Green anoles will turn brown when placed on dark colored objects such as tree bark and green when on light colored objects they will match the hue as best they can. They also turn brown when in distress.
