Habitat:
open or shrubby areas with tall grasses, scrub, or groves of trees, including riparian corridors and open savannas.
Notes:
They are very skittish and hard to approach for a good picture. After many attempts along the trail, one was waiting to have its picture taken back at the butterfly garden at the beginning of the trail :) - Black Island Trail, Lovers Key State Park.
