Description:

Very small beetle (< 0.25 inches). Head and thorax are black. Abdomen is a coffee-colored brown with black markings (like spots). Mouth parts are well developed.

Habitat:

Attracted to a porch light near deciduous woods in a southeastern forest in the midlands of South Carolina (Edgefield County).
