Hooded warbler
Setophaga citrina
20.8886, -88.1204
Field Notes
Description:
This fast moving Hooded warbler was very difficult to photograph. It kept moving from place to place in the forest floor. I had never seen one of its kind before and I couldn't find its ID in my three bird guides, maybe because it is a migratory bird that spends the winter in the Yucatan peninsula.
Habitat:
Tropical dry forest.
Notes:
It is my spotting 4,800.
