Field Notes

Description:

This spider was about 6 inches long ways (including legs) and about 4 inches in width (also including legs). It's web was over a foot long; additionally, the spider was about 6 feet off of the ground. With lined legs and broad joints, the spider remain immobile. At the end of every single leg was a small- but probably sharp- curved 'pincer.' Hopefully this provides enough information to be identified!
