Description:
Moth: I found this moth, resting under an outdoor night light, at 9:00 p.m. at night. The position of the wings, was in a parallel position. When the moth is at rest, it forms a "three dimensional tube". The outer wing edges as parallel to one another, and not tent - shaped. There is no gap between the edge of the two forewings. Often one wing will be folded over another. This moth was about one half of an inch long. This moth had two antennae, and two compound eyes. This moth had four wings, and six legs. It had a head, thorax, and an abdomen. The colors of this moth, was different shades of brown. It had banded legs. Light and dark colors. This moth was alive, and able to fly.
