Description:

•They eat insects, spiders, fruits, seeds, eggs, small birds and small rodents.
•It is the largest species of tegu.
•They are very intelligent reptiles.
•They are warm-blooded lizards.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest, savannas, semideserts
-I saw these tegus in Foz do Iguaçu (PR, Brazil)
