Description:

Ever green tropical perennial that grows in upright clumps 8–10 feet tall. It bears funnel-formed flowers. Flowers have white or pink perianths with yellow labella with red spots and stripes.

Habitat:

Tropical climates. Best grown in rich medium-wet, to wet well drained soils in full sun to part shade. This tree was observed at a County botanical garden where it can be provided the care and is placed to receive the sun it needs.
