American Robin

The American Robin is one of North America’s most common wild birds, just behind the red-winged blackbird in terms of population. Chances are if you live in the United States, you’ve probably seen one of these. They are characterized by their red breast, and although they are similar in name to the European robin, they are not actually very closely related. They pull up grubs, worms, seeds, etc. for food and lay bright blue eggs.
