Field Notes

Description:

Flat, sticky cap with a lined margin. It had concentric bands of pink, brown, and green. The gills were decurrent, distant, and pinkish red. Milk was deep red, but not easy to get going.

Habitat:

Habitat:Growing on the ground in a mixed forest - under eastern hemlock.
