Description:

Pale, sandy or light-grey-pinkish colored dove; mid-sized Streptopelia member, with some 27cm to 28cm in length. Distinctive characteristics : a narrow pale eye-ring.

Habitat:

Normally, this dove lives in arid and semi-arid areas, scrubland... in this occasion, seen in Nouakchott, not to far away of the center - and not very different from the described areas.
