Field Notes

Description:

Hindwing delicately tailed, male blue above with a thin marginal border and hindwing tornal spot, small black spots and 2 orange spots near the tail

Habitat:

Spotted at Taman Tasik Perdana, Malaysia.
Distribution India to China, though Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, Borneo and Palawan.

Notes:

They are among the few butterflies that breed on plants of the cycad family.
