Field Notes

Description:

I found this fungi growing on a rock. I observed that the fungi was soft and looked like there were some tiny hairs growing on the fungi. The "hair" was a greenish yellow color.The "host, some parts of the rock were turning dark green. Both sides of the rock had fungi growing on it.

Habitat:

I found the rock on top of a patch of grass, it was also found next to another rock. The neighboring rock did not have any sort of fungus growing on it.
