Description:

Probably not an actual Gammarus pulex, but very close in size, so probably a close relative of one

Habitat:

A creek running into the Mississippi, very narrow, probably only three feet across, about three inches shallow on average, they live under dead leaves that fell into the river and got stuck on the side.
