Description:

I went outside at 9:30 p.m. at night, and I saw this small insect, resting on a wall, on the outside of my house. It was about one fourth of an inch long. It had two, long, serrated antennae. It had two, large, bulging, black eyes. It had a red thorax, and six, brown, jointed legs. It's outer wings, were black in color. It had a head, thorax, and an abdomen. This insect, looks like some kind of beetle? This insect was alive, and able to fly.
