Handsome Trig

SIZE- Total Antenna to stabalizing "tail" & ¹"sonic" rubbing furs on rear legs *(to "sing" with, as they sound like a Cricket with a softer tone and lower frequency) =1" inch/25mm.

It appears as a Bombardier beetle
(Brachinus sp), except the mouth parts give it away as it is the mouth that has several "clamping jaws", as with most insects, however… this Twig has a very thick, large & wide ((jaws()) that make this insect unique with its hanging & floating "handlebar mustache" appearance. The head is colored Ruby Red with Crimson Red antennae and eyes, the neck begins with a Burgandy "collar" post thorax with a fade into Black at the intersection of the thorax and abdomen, under belly is bright White fading into Crimson Red at rear end with the top of the back being solid Gloss Black & contains a grainy pattern which mimics a solid colored wing, but it is centrally Transparnt and bordered with a thick Black band which wraps around the entire wing as if plastic wrap was covering a Black pot, since the wings are completely transparent, the back under the wings is truly Black & visible through the clear sector of the wing, this Transparency has "bubble" like domes once wings are spread & appear to have a tubed vein pattern. There are a total of 6 legs, 4 are flat Gold and unbarbed which protrude outward from the thorax, and are joined 3 times at knee, ankle, foot and "toes", which are a pinched type. Rear 2 legs protrude from abdomen and begin Cream/Antique White at "hip" and fade into gossy Gold at knee joint, where it instantly colors flat Gold down to "ankle", "foot" and "toes", just like the 4 front paws. The "calf" has 6 staggered barb points where they total 9 barbs as the inner "thigh" has 2 barbs at each of the 3 sectors, and the outer leg has 1 barb at each of the 3 segments. There are 2 barbs on the inner "ankle" joint just as up above on calf that protrude together, and again at the tip of the rear "toes" 3 barbs protrude. The tail end has 2 stabalizers on left and right, each resembles a short leg and begins with a tuft of 5 barbs packed tight together then narrows behind as 1 thin "rail". In the central rear of abdomen.
