Hmm you're right.. Lissominae is promising looking
A strange subgroup of Click beetles, long time believed to belong elsewhere: Lissomini tribe
Body shape seems wrong for a tortoise beetle and seems too shiny for a click beetle. Not too great at beetle ID myself though.
Any idea what this is?It looks like a collapsed tortoise beetle to me! Could be one of those glowing click beetles?
