Description:
Aranha-lobo (Wolf Spider), also called in Brazil "aranha-de-jardim" (Spider of Garden) and "aranha-de-grama" (Spider of Grass), is a species in family Lycosidae that has approximately 5 cm in length. It features light brown or gray color, black belly and chelicerae with orange or reddish hair. On the dorsal abdomen, there is a black arrow-shaped design.
Habitat:
I found this Wolf Spider near the jungle of Atlantic Forest, in Parque São Vicente, Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro.
Notes:
