Field Notes

Description:

A wonderful walking leaf about 4.5 cm long. It's venation is perfect. This one is green and healthy with no decay or brown spots :). It spent most of it's time hanging from a wooden beam above the light. Family Tettigoniidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light. Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, Soconusco area of southern Chiapas, Mexico. About 1 hour from Tapachula.
