Field Notes

Description:

These were blue eggs with brown speckles and one has hatched. I know the ID because I have seen the parents, one plain brown and one with the red front.

Habitat:

This nest is in a cow skull hanging on a post.

Notes:

These birds have been nesting in this spot for several years now.
