Field Notes

Description:

A butterfly-like planthopper with a set of wings which allows flight. Has 6 legs, but unlike a butterfly, it has a wider body and a thinner set of legs. The wingspan is about two 20 cent SGD put together. It looks deceivingly like a leaf, which is it's camouflage from predators.

Habitat:

Singapore Rainforest, Singapore American School
