Habitat:

Spotted on unidentified foliage (weeds) in our backyard.

Notes:

Reduviidae; Harpactorinae; Harpactorini; Euagoras plagiatus (Burmeister, 1834). Wikipedia states that this Assassin Bug has been investigated as a potential biocontrol agent for Pterophorus lienigianus Z., which is a pest of eggplant (Solanum melongena). Its presence in the Philippines is confirmed by https://www.gbif.org/species/9699620.....
